Carolyn A. Williams became an associate with Deasey, Mahoney & Valentini, Ltd. in 2017. Carolyn’s practice focuses on defending clients in a broad range of general liability claims including products liability, professional liability, construction defects, catastrophic personal injury, excess insurance litigation, and motor vehicle liability.  She also has experience with insurance coverage and contractual disputes.  Prior to joining the firm, Carolyn worked for a Philadelphia insurance defense firm, representing client interests in products liability, premises liability, multi-jurisdictional toxic tort, employment, motor vehicle, insurance fraud and general liability matters. Carolyn’s previous experience also includes working for a national mass tort litigation defense firm, coordinating regional and local strategy for multiple clients.  Carolyn’s practice at Deasey, Mahoney & Valentini, Ltd., focuses on products liability, professional liability, general liability and premises liability. Carolyn is a certified Arbitrator with the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas.  Carolyn also works as a volunteer attorney with the Support Center for Child Advocates and has been listed on the Pro Bono Roll of Honor since beginning that work in 2013. 

Carolyn is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, and the United States District Courts for New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Carolyn is originally from Endicott, New York and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh.  She attended the Temple University, Beasley School of Law, where she served as a Note & Comment Editor on the Political & Civil Rights Law Review.  While in law school, Carolyn was a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow and represented Temple Law School at the Peggy Browning Fund National Law Student Labor Conference.  Carolyn serves as a Ward Committeeperson and Treasurer of the 30th Ward in Philadelphia.  In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys running, baking, supporting the Phillies and spending time with family.
